I’m just here to report that Walmart is the first place that I have spotted retro Christmas wrapping paper. Now, that doesn’t mean that no one else has it; it just means that is the only place I noticed it. They had three of them that were very cute and retro.
Behold:
Starbursts, retro ornaments, and a star-shaped happy Santa. The ornaments are the winner out of these three; those are definitely some Shiny Brite specimens being depicted there.
Speaking of Shiny Brite ornaments . . . did you know you can still buy them? If you don’t spot them in stores, you can buy them at christopherradko.com, where you can find these cute little figurines. They almost fit into the “misfit” category that I wrote about last time.
I’ll continue the hunt for retro wrapping paper as I visit Home Goods, Marshalls, Meijer, and the other stores I like to frequent. I don’t know if the fantastic Woodman’s (we just got one near us) would have any, but I will definitely scope it out.
Stay tuned!
