Wow – thank you, Debbie! I am so glad that you found my posts useful and that you are the proud owner of a new cracked ice table yourself! Do send some pictures when you get it set up, and I’ll admire it from afar.

Your lighting choice sounds heavenly. Your sputnik lamp will be the perfect complement to the table!

Thank you for your in depth review and pictures of your dining table and chairs from American Chairs. I had been searching for a similar set but as you advise, it is better to purchase new. This way the customer can choose what they truly want in the size they need.
So many wonderful choices, high quality and better prices ! It was difficult to come to our final decision. However we did, are are waiting for delivery at this writing. Would have probably not found them if it wasn’t for your wonderful blog !
I also love love love your George Kovacs Bling lamp. Would have liked one of those as it matches perfectly with this decor ! However, we have opted to use a “sputnik” swag lamp as we have no electrical fixture above the dining table area to accept a hardwired lamp.

SWEET!!!! Love it!!!

We are almost finished. We have 2 more cabinets to paint and we are DONE!

Of course there are more projects…the living room is next.

Gotta take pictures and post them.
